Dave East, whose real name is David Lawrence Brewster Jr., is an American rapper, songwriter, and actor. He was born in East Harlem, New York City on June 3, 1988 and is known for his dark storytelling and raw lyrics that blend modern hip-hop with 1990s New York hardcore rap. Some of his albums include Survival (2019), 30 For 30 (2023), Fortune Favors the Bold (2023) with songs Weirdos, Still Here and 1000 Miles.
