Kim Gordon is an American singer, songwriter, and visual artist who is best known as the bassist, guitarist, and vocalist of the alternative rock band Sonic Youth, which she co-founded. She has released 22 albums, including Collective, No Home Record, and Goo. She has also worked on other projects, including Free Kitten, Sentimental Education, Body/Head, and Glitterbust.
