Rare Americans is a Canadian-Slovak indie band from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The band was founded in 2018 by brothers James and Jared Priestner. The band’s members are James, Jared Priestner, Ľubomír Ivan, Jan Cajka, Ginger Chen Pimentel and Duran Ritz. The band is known for their animated videos, which often accompany their songs.
Some of their albums include Rare Americans on Audiotree Live (2022), Songs That Don’t Belong (2022) and Searching For Strawberries: The Story of Jon (2023) with songs Brittle Bones Nicky, Run The World and Mama Bear.
