Red Velvet 레드벨벳 is a five-member South Korean girl group formed by SM Entertainment in 2014. The members are Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri. They debuted with the digital single “Happiness” on August 1, 2014.
The team name contains the ambition to present colorful and sophisticated music and performances, like the sensuous image evoked by the strong color Red and the soft feeling Velvet. They have released albums including The Perfect Red Velvet (2028), Bloom (2022) and Chill Kill (2023) with songs Psycho, Zimzalabim and Feel My Rhythm.
