Twenty One Pilots is an American musical duo from Columbus, Ohio. The band’s members are Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun, and they combine elements of rock, hip-hop, punk, and reggae in their music. In 2009, Joseph, Nick Thomas, and Chris Salih formed the band. Thomas and Salih left in 2011, and the current lineup consists of Joseph and Dun. Twenty One Pilots’ 2015 album Blurryface featured the Grammy-winning single “Stressed Out” and the chart hit “Ride”. The album was certified multi-platinum and became one of the best-selling albums in the world in 2015.
