Vishal Mishra is an Indian singer, music composer, and music director. He was born on December 8, 1990 in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh and attended school in Lucknow. Mishra’s early career was guided by Lalit Pandit of the Jatin–Lalit composer duo. He first appeared on a reality show on DD National and made his debut as a composer in 2016 with the Tamil film Devi. He has released more than 60 albums and is credited in 51 movies, including Animal, Kabir Singh, and Gadar 2. He won a Filmfare Award for Best Music Director for Animal in 2024 and a Mirchi Music Award for Listener’s Choice Album of The Year for Kabir Singh in 2020.
